These Terms of Service govern your use of Post Apocalypse Counselling Centre (PACC) and our online therapy services. By accessing our website and engaging in therapy, you agree to these terms.

 

1. Scope of Services

• We provide virtual psychotherapy sessions for clients in Ontario and Canada-wide (as permitted by licensing regulations).

• Services are not a substitute for emergency care. If you are in crisis, call 911 or contact your local crisis helpline.

 

2. Client Responsibilities

• Clients must be 18+ years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

• Therapy requires a stable internet connection and a private, distraction-free environment.

• Clients agree to provide truthful information during therapy sessions.

 

3. Confidentiality & Privacy

• All therapy sessions are confidential except in cases of:

  • Risk of harm to self or others.

  • Legal requirements (e.g., court orders, child protection).

• Sessions may not be recorded by either party without explicit written consent.

 

4. Cancellation & Payment Policy

• Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

• Payments are due before or at the time of the session. Refunds are not available for late cancellations or missed sessions.

 

5. Emergency Disclaimer

• We do not provide crisis intervention services.

6. Licensing & Compliance

• Our therapists are licensed with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

• Therapy services comply with PHIPA and PIPEDA privacy regulations in Canada.
